No passado era desse jeitinho aí. Graças a Deus avançou bastante.

Desconheço hospitais psiquiatricos que existem nesse modelo ainda. Tem pelos uns 30 anos que não funciona mais nada parecido nesse tipo. Até longa permanência é evitada e está inclusive se migrando em clinicas/hospitais particulares para um modelo quase como hotel.

Inclusive a eletroconvulsoterapia ela nem é feita de rotina nos serviços. A absurda maioria dos tratamentos é só medicamentoso.

Até porque a eletroconvulsolterapia é absurdamente cara. Tu deixa o valor de um carro num tratamento desses hoje em dia.

Concordo que tem muita gente querendo internar os outros visando beneficios, mas cautela nessas informações aí.
