If you play around with different clients some will recommend more relays to you. Coracle and gossip would be two examples, although they're slightly different in how they do this.

I think it'b be cool if more clients implemented "show raw event JSON" like in gossip. Sort of like dev tools for nostr, and it just satisfies curiosity sometimes.

Yes and no, I'd say. The lack of any privacy guarantee with the centralized platforms is pretty terrible, but the leakage is at least constrained to internal employees or government subpoenas, as opposed to being fully public with kind 4.
Definitely agree though that other channels or throwaway keys should be used for anything sensitive though.
If you don't think it's that big of a deal to leak metadata through nostr DMs, consider that the widespread and illegal NSA program revealed by Snowden was "just" listening to metadata.
Not saying it's as bad, but definitely not harmless.

It becomes easier to miss content the more stuff you follow and this might help with that.
The humans can probably hide behind layers of regulation to secure their jobs though. Doctors also have money which makes it easier to control the levers of power.

In seriousness though, I can see why some people might want this, but it absolutely must be off by default. I imagine most people would either see zero or negative utility to such a feature.
