As a regular #Gab user, I have to give kudos to the #Primal app on nostr.
There’s a saying in the media industry: “Content is king”.
Originally I made the move to Gab because, why support a company that hates you (#Twitter)?
With Twitter becoming “X”, I no longer feel the hate, but the algorithm driving engagement is toxic.
The Gab UI, unfortunately being browser based due to their mobile app being de-platformed by BigTech, is clunky at best.
Bottom line: Until content creators (and special interest groups, aka SIGs) start to populate the nostr platform, adoption and engagement will remain low. There needs to be a more compelling justification to join other than being free from censorship. That still comes down to compelling content.
A few years back, a friend who ran a successful restaurant in downtown Seattle was telling me their margin was 12% and that was really good compared to the surrounding restaurants running at 6% to 8%. That was pre-covid.
Margins are down at least 30% since “recovery”, whatever that means.
Jesus was not the pacifist portrayed by liberal churches (those embracing worldly values). He understood that most battles are fought in a different realm than the physical.
John 2:15
So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
“All force is unjust.” According to who?
The opposite of defense is offense, not retaliation.
If you are attacked with missiles, and you respond by destroying the missile batteries so you can’t be attacked any longer, that’s a just use of force.
The only value something has is what someone is willing to pay for it.
SSN’s were originally forbidden to be used as ID numbers, but government couldn’t resist the temptation.
MotB next? 🤷♂️
The Father of Lies approves of her message.
