I do agree that main moderation should be for most part on client side.
However i don't feel at ease at not being able to have some kind of moderation on relay side.
For many reasons i should be able to decide what kind of content is on my relay or not.
e.g : i might not want to host content from users that is illegal in the country where my relay is based.
I believe reports can help into identifying hosted content that does not comply with your relay policy, however i agree with the NIP-56 recommendation onto avoiding to automate moderation through reports.
Ho, I see ! Nostrss goes the other way around so it won't be much help.
I have in mind to build something to help onto that : providing RSS feeds of nostr profiles, but I'm not on it for now. I'm currently focusing on validation server for nostr-rs-relay.
I'll start on this once done with my current focus if no one provide such tool meanwhile

A web api feature that works over HTTP/3.
But looking at the browser support for the API I'd say it is way too early to consider switching to this :

But my guess is that you request the note onto all the relays you want to perform the check. Not the other way
As amethyst show the relays which broadcasts a note, I'd say yes.
