Living off-grid and transferring water to the onboard 100 gallon tank. All the water runs through a filter. One person can hyperconserve their water ( if they aren't drinking this, and not doing laundry with the machine ) and go 1.5 to 2.5 months between water fills. The hot showers are quick but delightful.
I could also put a larger tank out side which I might do but I've been doing this for so long and I'm so used to it, it ain't so bad. Drinking water is taken through a Lifsavr Jerry can system.
