Wanted to know the diameter of the flush mount part of a light fixture in my ceiling, so I wrapped it in a USB cable, pinched off the length of the circumference, and measured that with my straight tape measure. Somewhat proud that I still remembered how to math out the diameter without any googling of formulas. The result was what I expected!

What do mainstream people think caused C19? Has a theory emerged with >50% probability? I thought the dominant (in the mainstream) theory was lab leak but my partner thinks it was wet market.
But as a former app dev myself I would definitely scratch my own itches before catering to the usually-not-paying masses.
