Loving learning in the open here. Feels like 16' all over again.

Ok. First note zap off and away. Now to remove the like button entirely. ZAP ZAP.

Bring it on. It definitely seems like the solution for subscriptions. Something I’ve been thinking about a fair bit.

Zapped it some sats.

Already posted by #[0] but there’s no quote reposts yet here. Read this. Get excited. How can you not be bullish. Transformative change is SO close.

Have witnessed it first hand. It sucks.

Best to use screen recordings. More natural. Only downside is you can’t hear them!

If you’re a bitcoiner and have even a passive interest in design… do yourself a favor and follow #[0] he’s a huge contributor to bitcoin and knows his stuff.

For me it was something not related to bitcoin at all… but gold. A video series that explained the history of money. And… how the federal reserve works.. the function of inflation… it blew my mind. The series was a glorified ad for gold. But bitcoin made so much more sense. Perfectly scarce. More so than gold. More environmentally friendly to mine. No cartel controlling stock to flow.

Aside from of course bitcoin being it’s own killer app… Nostr feels like the first time I’m actively using it. I’ve bought pizzas, stuff online… the odd thing here and there with bitcoin before… but zapping just hits different.

Nostr, not Ordinals, is Bitcoin’s killer app. āš”ļø

It was an experiment. What would happen? How large would the push back be? Would it be effective?

The rest of the ā€˜free’ world was watching.

Anyone have a tldr as to why having a .btc address is shit? I understand Stacks is not bitcoin. But a .btc address pointing to your lightning address *sounds* cool.

Is it the security?
