Good morning nostr friends, enjoying an amazing 63F while i drink my coffee on the porch. Seems like fall temps are coming early for us, and i love it. Today we'll be going to do some trimming of branches around the church parking lot, then hopefully i'll have time to work my backyard project.
Last week the county water guys shut off the water supply in order to make a new connection down the road from us. And now all our faucets are making alot of noise and spurting when we run them, i guess because there's air in the pipes. It cant be good for the plumbing, and its worrying me a bit. Good Sunday morning nostr friends, woke up to another gorgeous day with a temp of 64F. It'll warm up quite a bit later, but these 60's are amazing. Yesterday we went to go visit with friends about 30 mins away, and we had the best conversations and some amazing food. These friends care about what they eat, like us, and i can always tell when i eat good quality food. It feels me up without making me feel bloated or tired. And eating at their place, i felt neither of those things.
So we got home after dark, and we checked to make sure none of the rabbits had snuck in the chicken coops before the automatic doors closed. But everything was fine, so the experiment is working well so far.

GM! Drove 8 hours yesterday to surprise my dad for his 85th birthday. We all had a lovely time sitting around the kitchen table enjoying each other’s company. No phones, TV, news or other distractions. A good family is one of the cornerstones to a good life. I’m grateful to my parents for putting in the work it took to create happy situation.

GM! I’m doing an apprenticeship at a local processing center so I can add meat cutting to my skill set.
A different apprentice took some initiative and split open a cow. He did not take precautions to avoid the intestinal track.
Have you ever heard a five minute long fart? Have you ever been sprayed with the insides of a cow? I have..now. Some of it got in my mouth! Laughed so hard!
Situations like this teach us that one can get angry and yell or take the opportunity to teach and laugh it off. Please use this note as a reminder to laugh and teach not yell and preach. PV everyone 😀

Bro, if you own a saw that looks like that you are already a better woodworker than most people. If I can’t eyeball a cut and use my battery powered circular saw or sawsall to make the cut, then the project is too detailed and/or intricate for me.

I'm worried about our dog Lou, as he is showing signs of old age and decline. He's had several seizures recently, he's lost alot of his sight and hearing, and he just cant get around well anymore. I'm dreading the decision we'll have to make soon.
