Today the problem is the solution ! Was listening to the tsp episode today on nurserys while slaving away at my off farm job at a nursery haha. I work at a flower greenhouse and over the past couple weeks convinced my boss to let me take the plants that die and wast potting soil, which is literally going to be more value than my paycheck with inflation haha. It was encouraging to be doing something they talked about in the episode while listening. I also found some azola growing as a weed in some spikes that I am going to be throwing in the pond and wont have to buy :)

Really dropped the ball with the grownosr challenge :/ going to just keep going anyway. Have been clearing willows and brush and cutting down blueberries to make room for more pasture. Here's what the aquapondics green house looks before the plastic goes up.

Figured out you cant post video directly so I'm making a youtube to post the vids to nostr. Did a little video tour of what we are going to do with the green house but here's a pic for now. We will have a biochar system at the far end. Around the biochar oven we will wrap copper wire and run it under the greenhouse. We have 14 acres of blueberries that we get literally tons of branches for biomass to. To the left is a large pond (with fish) where we will grow azola for feed and much and in the green house we will grow greens and have a spot to hang out. The two hoops on the end of the greenhouse are bent so we will have a duck coup for fertility there and the wall and door two hoops in. Thats the plan for now at least. Follow to see the progression. If I can get 100 followers in a week I'll do the 75 hard with a plunges in the pond everyday

Yall know the greenhouse, biochar, coffee spot idea Jack has talked about a couple times ? I thought it would be cool to design and renovate our greenhouse by our pond to be a system designed around that idea. We'll have something cool to show a progression of over the #grownostr challenge. We are in a great spot close to lake Michigan with influx of tourists in the summer and have a cool farm to show off. The pond could be used to make huge wicking beds along with ducks and azola on the ouside of the green house we will probably grow greens and plants to sell inside with a place to sit.
