Hey, If you connect a Lightning Wallet, people can sent you Sats!

What client are you using?

💯 I know how it feels to understand something that seems *so obvious and transparent and exquisite, but to everyone else it's a XYZ (scam, internet-tokens, something shady etc...)

Don't get discouraged. Not everyone is willing or even able to take the orange pill. It explodes a lot of world views.

Money is a prickly topic for a lot of people too.

Bathroom fan reminded me of HAL from 2001 A Space Odyssey. And I can't stop thinking about it. 😄

The fact that the AI in the 1968 masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey occasionally lets the human character, Dave, win at their Chess games is an excellent thought-piece.

The fact that the AI locks Dave out in space at the end is the answer. Highly recommend if you haven't seen it. It's a slow burn type of film but is a classic in this genre.

nostr:npub1tsgw6pncspg4d5u778hk63s3pls70evs4czfsmx0fzap9xwt203qtkhtk4 's user picture used to be HAL from 2001 A Space Odyssey... Before his name was "Dave". Is his name a nod to the character from said movie too? Or coincidence. This is very important I solve this. Hahaha 😄 nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s plz tell me in an emoji.

Ahhh yes. A fireside chat style cage match. 😄

Goldeneye 64 or Mariokart 64 should be used to squash all beefs IMO

With time... comes perspective. I encourage everyone to check out the link: https://youtu.be/Nzvh4AODtWc

IMO Jack Dorsey, Twitter and now Elon Musk all did OK jobs with the info at hand and in those positions. Judging by public record. I think history will look back kindly. Big ships to manuever in stormy seas.

Google and even Apple, for the megacorps they are, seem to be doing OK too. Not great, but decently enough for what they are. They are public companies making money and providing tech. They've pushed the world forward.

Facebook/Meta on the other hand... I think we're seeing their true colours. Or being reminded of it. They didn't develop anything new. At all! None of it.

And anything they did offer, they harvested an insane amount of data from all of us, then leveraged and sold it. They care about the consumer the least.

If ANY random company - you choose your favourite example, Costco, Hot Topic, Target, etc - wanted to collect as much data from you as Meta does, you'd laugh and think they're out of their minds.

We need to Web5 ALL OF IT. Everything needs to be decentralized, democratized, distributed and own-Node ethos.

If there's a job opening where I can help, I'd love to leave my job teaching and work on this full time. Tag me.

The world needs this tech for the betterment of humanity.

Decentralize and Web5 EVERYTHING.

Yes. I remember all of this. A lot of social media is just iNfLoOEncErS blasting out pedantic, pandering "content" for contents sake. No engagement. Just hot air and nOiSe.

Nostr has been so rad in this regard. Real connections, discussion and Zaps - how rad are Zaps?!

No algorithms... just plebs sending each other Bitcoin for fun.
