And now she is his babysitter! 😉

Pier Gerlofs Donia fits into a similar category as Ned Kelly, but without any movie titles.

Nope. I used the palm tree one, and have kept my stomach muscles in good shape, so my back is fine.

When I would switch people to Linux, they would quit calling me for help. The first few times this happened, I thought they were mad at me. I would call them to make sure everything was okay, and found they were more than happy with the change, and had no issues to call me about.

And yes, I'm known for helping my clients to the point of making myself nearly obsolete. Too bad that's not recognized financially. 🤣

They're not my laptops, and there are no geeks in this org. I'm sure they would not be happy if I removed Windows.

My goal is to show them that they don't need it, and that they're better off with open source solutions.

I set up two new laptops for an organization a couple of days ago. The initial sequence forced me to make a Microsoft account before letting me continue to the first login.

I kept looking for ways around it (Esc key, non-obvious opt-out link, etc), but could not pass that screen without submitting an email address to create a MS account.

If I get their permission, I'm going to make them dual-boot to Linux.
