What’s a better word to use here than “account”? Doesn’t seem to fit the way nostr works, but I can’t think of a better term
They’ll find a way to make money out of the effort people put into this for free, they’re just slow on the uptake
They’ll gravitate towards large, well-connected relays that manage the safe space for them
This might seem obvious to everyone else, but it just occurred to me that the permissionless nature of nostr means that people can’t be doxxed by a court order

It will free them from the prison they’ve created for themselves and everyone else
It really is the best choice
All the other options are “cute” or “quirky”, but ⚡️ is the simplest, most practical, and most meaningful one
Nostr has the advantage of bootstrapping itself on top of the established Bitcoin community
And Bitcoin did it on top of the cypherpunks
With decentralisation comes a level of OWNERSHIP that participants don’t typically get with other centralised platforms
It feels like WE are building this for ourselves, rather than having it served to us on a platter by a corporation with its own agenda
This is the mind virus that makes decentralised solutions like Bitcoin/LN and nostr succeed
