Overall id say the issue comes down to convenience/surveillance in Primal and Strike vs more work/better privacy with another Client and your own LN set up.
Sure these things are diff to maneuver around but with effort it can be done and I wanted the noobs to know there was another way. Of course there are always those who won't do it but even if some do I'm happy.
It's up to devs like us to build the tech we want to see so I'm working towards that in my own way. In many ways I'm just learning about this space but privacy options need to be more spoken about imo and I suspect Primal and Strike are perhaps surveillance arms of a yet to be discovered connection between private and public. Well see but I'm watching to see how it plays.

The requirement for KYC just means the surveillance is at a lower level than Primal and Stripe govt. Question is are they companies deliberately inserted to surveil a new tech space? I think possibly. It is how govt likes to work.
Fully KYC or not these things tend to change incrementally. The boiling lobster thinks it's having a relaxing spa til it ain't anymore.
Also newbs will enter real data and eventually it could deny access unless you verify email and perhaps more. One user I spoke with here on Nostr said he was unable to withdraw funds also without registration. Havent corroborated that fully so it's dubious but something to keep an eye on.

It's addiction. I mostly stopped drinking coffee the last 6 weeks. First 4 weeks strictly none. Last two weeks I've had 3. First week was hard. By third I didn't think about it.

There are things you may not notice as well. Coffee is acidic and throwns off the bodies PH balance if consumed too much. Many diseases start from an acidic base in the body.

This is possible until it isn't. Eventually they will make you verify your email. My prediction. It's an insidious game of incremental change. So slow you don't notice it. Like cooking a lobster. Feels nice and comforting til it's not anymore.
They suck you in with convenience. It's how all surveillance tech is sold to us. Freedom ain't free or easy.
