My biggest accomplishment over the past year is that I’m no longer scared of GitHub and realized the basics of this mysterious coding thing. However I feel like things are moving faster during the past few months, so I’m dedicating a couple of hours a day to learning and practicing. Im running the next.js project I’m now practicing on locally, but will hopefully have something to share soon ™ .

I've joined several communities, but do not appear in the list of subscribers. How do I become a subscriber and what does that do?

Looks like a bug. Simple subscription should do it. Did you try reloading?

Alby NWC: means nostr wallet connect, remotely sign transactions. To setup on kiwi is simply go to settings, choose NWC, sign first transaction will prompt for you to allow permission

Thinking of hooking up a car battery to my UPS, so that it can power a node and a router for a day or so 😄
It only works if I’m home. If I don’t turn it off manually, it still results in a force shutdown and I often end up with some data on my SSD corrupted - be it an index file or something else.
Plus not all peers are patient I guess, so force closes happen too

Waiting for the bitcoin node to sync. I’ve actually got major blackouts problems in my region, so running a lightning node has been challenging. I’ve tried MyNode, RaspiBlitz and Umbrel over the past 3 years and can’t figure out the approach that would keep me from running into force closes. But I keep my hopes up.
