MY BITCOIN STORY:

In the summer of 2017, I woke up broken.

Knees swollen, wrists hurt, constant low fever, and we had no idea why.

This happened right after I graduated with a masters degree.

I was ready to surf the world, BUT NOPE.. I was bed ridden. fortunately, I had a supporting family to care for me.

How was I supposed to make any money? How am I supposed to be healthy?

These two questions were the beginning of my self-curriculum.

While on the couch, I remembered my buddy showing me “CrYpTo” and ethereum’s flash crash in 2017.

Now that I had time, and a little bit of grad money, I started down the rabbit hole.

I ended up purchasing

Bitcoin with all the grad money with a promise to myself to never sell it. (Yes I shitcoined a ton, but kept my promise).

It felt like rock bottom when I was on the couch, not knowing if I’d ever recover and live a normal

Life. Scariest time of my life still..

Now in hindsight, I’m incredibly grateful for those couple months and the time it gave me to introspect, learn, & discover.

We never really figured out what happened. We found the hla b27 antigen which means I am more prone to autoimmune disorders.

Haven’t had a flare up since.
