I left the socials and didn’t look back. #nostr makes me want to find and engage with like minded plebs, or even plebs I disagree with on a lot of things…but agree on with the big things (BTC).
I am learning, stacking what I can but ultimately, I’m looking forward to what the ‘punks come up with and I do believe we’re all gonna be joining a decentralized sovereign nation at some point.
Just gotta plug my boy Neal Stephenson for having so many great stories: Snow Crash (duh) but also Zodiac, The Fall (or Dodge in Hell) and The Diamond Age. They all have elements of what’s coming (prob): decentralized nations with micro state like neighborhoods. Imagine a gated community within which only citizens are permitted (think dual citizenship). Artificial intelligence that raises children. Privacy masks that you wear to defeat cameras and other people trying to sus your identity.
