This is my little buddy Hermes. He got into a fight with some coyotes on Monday and if it hadn't been for my wife, most likely would not be with us anymore. This is his first trip out of his crate since surgery on Monday. He's a trooper and we're hoping for a full recovery.

GROSS! Im working on the airflow on my tent today so this doesn't happen again (as fast).
All of this white powdery junk is the spores from a couple of batches of oyster mushrooms.
Harvesting at the proper type is part of the solution to minimizing the mushroom spore load, but also proper ventilation.

Started playing around with `uv` today. It is a Python `pip` alternative thing which is written in Rust, and is super fast. Currently, I use `poetry` for most of my python package management/version locking, but maybe `uv` can replace it.
So far so good I guess.
Python is the bees knees BTW, I love it. It is always very entertaining to me when I hear really smart people claim that Python sucks and they can't install a package, and then they go do something stupid and break their computer.
Maybe Im in an abusive relationship with my programming language? I could be better, but its definitely not unusable.

Is that a non-custodial way to use alby?
I use primal mobile a lot for consuming nostr. I hop into Damus from time to time to see if it is faster.
I only usually post on desktop because I have to post my images onto nostr.build and then use the embed links. Posting images raw using primal doesn’t work 50% of the time. I have to continually select the same photo a few times before it’ll ever stick on mobile.
I can only zap on mobile because of primal embedded wallet. I have Alby setup on desktop and it works great for login but zaps almost never work.

I don’t even know how to get to the global feed anymore. I used to like it on Damus but don’t know how on primal.
3D Printed a test tube holder to help organize the culture I am storing for long term storage.
Mushroom genetics storage is actually in a way sorta of similar to #bitcoin private key storage. You have to take great care that your cultures are secure, and not compromised by the outside environment.
However, what is a bit different/also the same is that "sharing is caring" and one of the best way to store a culture for the long term is to give it to your friends, so it is stored in a geographically separate location.
