Request for mutual aidβ€” ya gal is #actuallyautistic and 110% burned out and currently unemployed. I am housed and fed but anything would help lift the burden, especially for pet food & cat litter, etc. It would really mean the world if you could help out a little (pity plea: especially since this is my birthday month! lol)

Thanks & love in advance.

But β€” I'm struggling to pick this apart β€” that LIFE OR DEATH DRAMATIC EMOTIONS thing β€” is that really bad, if it's in an artistic form? Like, is it just a "sincere emotions are cringe" thing when we criticize people for "writing like a teenager"?

AND ALSO. FURTHERMORE. LEADING TO MY MAIN POINTβ€”

Considering I'm autistic, I don't think I'm capable of writing a song without LIFE OR DEATH DRAMATIC EMOTIONS.

So why is that a bad thing? (2/2)

One of my core fears re: writing music and putting it out into the world is that I'll be accused of being "immature" and "dramatic" with "the emotions of a teenager."

I just β€”

1) I understand that teens typically need to work on their writing technique more, and the "just discovered a thesaurus" look isn't a good one.

2) Teenagers don't have a lot of life experience for reference when their emotions are intense. Your first heartbreak is the worst heartbreak because it's the first. (1/2)

Happy "Alice in Wonderland Day" or "Douglas Sills' Birthday Eve."

This song is titled "Wonderland" and the person I wrote it about is unintentionally and unavoidably breaking my heart. That's all I got.

I cannot, CANNOT take any business seriously that has errors in their ad copy. You want my MONEY?!?! Not unless you're going to hire a proofreader with it!!!!

I'm real fucking tired of being shouted down by idiots because THEIR mother never taught them that NICE GIRLS DON'T YELL.

FOUR THOUSAND MILES with a fucking Repulicunt. WHAT vacation?!?!?!

There are two types of people: those whom everything happens, and those to whom nothing happens.

OK Chappell Roan ruining this baseball game. You fake. Go home to Missour-a.

Therapy is for people who weren't born with a gold medal in rumination.

This is just, ya know, on the off chance... I am on a much-needed vacation with a very tight budget, and if anyone felt moved to help an #actuallyautistic #musician recover from burnout, my Venmo is @chantelle-constable. β€οΈπŸŒˆβ™ΎοΈ #mutualaid

It's real easy to feel superior to a cunt who thinks it's just fine that our American tax dollars have helped to kill 50,000 Palestinian children. I am fucking done pretending to care about these idiots' feelings. You're dumb. You're stupid. You're wrong. FIFTY THOUSAND CHILDREN are dead and you think it's justified. Absolutely sickening.

I'm not gonna talk smack on any of the current pop girlies, but just on a personal kvetch, why do they always have long blonde hair?! We deserve a brunette pixie cut pop princess!!

I didn't fight and claw my way out of purity culture for some Gen Z influencer with a podcast to be all, "Akshually, guys, shmex isn't that special. Friendships are what's really important uwu." πŸ™„

If there is a "divine feminine," her name was Elizabeth Taylor.

I HATE SETH MCFARLANE. He and Michael Buble need to keep their grubby little paws OFF Sinatra's arrangements.

(Unintentional, but fortuitous) Linda Ronstadt vibes...

As someone who *studies music* I absolutely love Spotify bc I can look up all the different versions of an aria or jazz standard; it's just so great for *research*.

But also, I have a collection of files that I copy to every new device because these artists/albums aren't on Spotify. & I just wonder... Does the average person even care enough about music to do that? Does anyone CARE about OWNING music any more? Or has it become literally disposable, as transient as the ads you ignore on Netflix?

Weird to me how many neurodivergent people say they love the Loop earplugs... 'Cause you can't ALL have no problem with stuff shoved in your ears... ???
