Yesterday started crisp, cold, and breezy💨 and I got a chance to clear the snow from the hangar and #greenhouse. The greenhouse was completely coated on the inside with a sheet of ice that I busted loose. When I went inside it looked like an explosion happened with the shards of ice everywhere. At least it will melt and get the moisture BACK into the soil. The winds blew a lot of the champagne powder from the trees and at a few points the air was whited out from the blowing snow.
Bahrain Darts🎯 Masters was on and the favorites all won their rounds, the Copa ⚽was on and Athletico whopped Real, then the Kraken 🏒got beat up by the Oilers.
Today the snow will turn to rain and begin the week long melting which will turn the farm to a slushy sloggy mess. I'll move as much snow as I can this morning before the rains hit.

I didn't realize until I started clearing the 6" of #snow❄ from the outside of the greenhouse today that there was a complete coating of ice on the inside. I broke it all off by smacking the outside and when I went inside I found the ice scattered like glass exploded. It's warming up now so it will all melt and get some of the moisture back into the soil to get me by until I can water this weekend. Expecting more snow tonight but then the rain starts tomorrow and we become a sloggy slushy mess on the #farm.

It snowed yesterday and gave us 6" of nice light champagne powder which made moving it around quite easy. By dawn we had an inch and it didn't really kick into gear until mid morning when I had cleared the deck of snow and 20 minutes later there was another inch already. It stopped by 3pm and I had enough time to get the snow blowing done before dark. I really needed it done as we have rain coming which will make this all a massive mess.
The #greenhouse soil temps are surprisingly above freezing thanks to the heat tape heater in the soil. A lot of moisture got wicked out of the surrounding soil from the freeze so I have to get water on it again once it is warmer in a couple days.
We continued the 80s 📽 movies with The Last Star Fighter which has atrocious "special effects". The cgi was just bad, very 80s 286 style cgi. I still love the movie though as I grew up watching it.
