First day on the mountain with our season passes yesterday and leave it to our youngest to BREAK his ski, like nearly in half. Even the shop hadn't seen that before. I have to try and find a new set for him so we can go up over spring break.

It was her birthday yesterday and we had a great day. Brunch out mid day, time together while the boys were at school, then dinner out in the evening. We have season passes for the ski mountian now and she managed to overcome the shyness and got up and sang at dinner. I did a good job of making her #birthday great.

Big accomplishment for me getting the engine fiully reassembled and IT STARTED!!! That means I got the timing setup correct! BUT the clanging sound is still there. I am damn positive that it's the timing tensioners that are bad and the new ones will be here tomorrow for swapping on Saturday. The valve covers come off but that's as deep as I will have to go this time.

Exactly. I grew up buy Yosemite and looked down on the disgusting central valley. The foothills divided the states in half then but now it's more so the crest of the range. I've been all for splitting the state most of my life, and that now morphed to Washington.
Systemic is a disgusting understatement. CA/OR/WA are owned operated and managed by the CCP/WEF/IMF/etc and need to be removed at all costs.

Well, that was exciting yesterday afternoon. I was working on my truck engine reassembly when I heard the loudest explosion of a wreck on the highway I have heard in our years here. Truck hit SUV blind from the side and rolled the SUV. I was 3rd on scene and helped with the driver of the truck as he was out while the pregnant woman had to be cut from the SUV. Both went to the hospital but both will be okay with nothing real major. Thankfully the fire station is 1/2 mile west of the incident.
