How do you send your zaps??
Previously I was using Amethyst on my android phone, but I just switched over to iOS, so I’m using primal exclusively now.
Amethyst was able to send and receive zaps directly from my wallet of satoshi. When I try to send zaps on Damus it just opens my Fountain app and I don’t have many sats on there, because it isn’t my primary wallet.

Thank you very much for the zaps by the way- I’m trying to figure out how to get my zaps set up on primal, primal wallet isn’t allowed for residents of Canada sadly, and I’m on iOS now so no more access to amethyst (where I used to zap from) I’ll definitely be zapping ya back.

I just switched over to iOS so I’m primal only and it’s fine but last week when I was using primal + amethyst I think it was doing the same thing

Notifications on the bell tab or in messages? Mine on messages doesn’t go away but on the bell they disappear right away most of the time. Are you on iOS or android?
I also think inspiration comes from that boredom. You get in touch with how you really feel & what you really want, in all regards, therefore giving you an opportunity to go and do it.
We definitely have to become better at sitting with boredom. I think a lot of good things come from boredom, we allow our thoughts to come with us, process them, etc.
I’m someone who reaches for constant distraction often, so I make time for things like meditation or days once a week or so where I won’t look at a screen whatsoever. Just to feel that boredom
Follows and followers have been the most finicky feature between the nostr apps so far. Each platform shows a different follower count too
It just showed you re-followed me aside from that there’s like 4 accounts that unfollow/follow me from day to day and it’s probably the same thing going on.

I don’t think the narrative of bitcoin being a store of value is a bad thing.
I think the greatest currencies in the world should be a store of value, as well as a means of exchange. How many other countries have USD stockpiles?
A lot, if not all.
People will always use the best available currency as a store of value. I’m from Canada and I know many people bought the USD when it was at par (2008 or 09) just to sit on it, until its value once again outperformed the CAD, they then spend it or swap back to CAD.
Bitcoin is a currency, it’s not just an asset. Just like any other powerful countries currency ever was.
The only thing that’s different here is that we’re in an entirely new space, and the market needs to catch up. As soon as the masses realize that bitcoin is a superior store of value, the best buying power investment you can make and the top performing currency in the world, do economics not state that the market will adjust and allow for the use of this?
I don’t see people or businesses giving up on opportunities to earn and hoard bitcoin once they understand that it will outperform all weaker currencies, and they will eventually understand this.
From my lens, bitcoin has never even really been a store of value- it is a buying power play. It is just a currency that is harder and more sound than other currencies, therefore it outperforms them.
People will want in and they will innovate, accept BTC and trade in BTC. The market will catch up, people just have to catch on. Hard money always wins.

Highly recommend the pro 500 if you can snag one on sale, and honestly even at sticker price it’s very good. If you can afford a bit more I would go dual boiler though.
