I think people should try programming to understand it & therefore appreciate it.

Since it’s right, since it’s binary, since you’re a victim of it, since it’s already a ‘law’.

And we should give to people as possible, the opportunity to try it, adopt it & change the world. Make it more better!

What are your thoughts on nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 ‘s argument that Drive Chain is necessary to scale bitcoin to the masses?

Seems to be correct... So necessary only if we considered it as a foretaste of ‘Layer 3’...

Dramatic scenario & I would take pity those who can think of it in the 2nd degree... If that’s the case then Paul sztorc would be the ‘Marquis de Sade’ of the Bitcoin ecosystem!

What sadistic liberalism??

I’m trying projects.. Some will work, some won’t. But always learn & evolve with the programmable circuit boards @arduino.

Maybe I will run an engine controller, web server or bitcoin price tracker.. Why not running TLS on Arduino using elliptic curve cryptography & AES..

From noob to ardunian, you need an Arduino kit that I severely recommend! Probably more valuable for training young mind than using application software.⌨️🧰

#Bitcoin project suggestions for DIY would be welcome..🫡

Scalability problem?? ‘Layer 3’ to the rescue by splitting the blockchain into multiple shards, each of which can process transactions in parallel…

And only Drivechain & sidechain can fit this criterion! nostr:note1pevzc2v9teflqedqchr6fp0kaup96wnnwknfef47pk5czkd3d8vql9shwx

Sidechains, which are separate chains that can be interoperable with the main blockchain, might not inherently have their own block rewards. Instead, they might rely on other mechanisms or tokens for incentives. This lack of a block reward in sidechains could make them susceptible to the issues discussed in the paper, particularly the potential for miners to prioritize certain types of blocks (empty blocks or blocks with no TXs): Sidechain cannot be 'reorged' without the mainchain being reorged as well!

The proposed improvements for 'OP_BRIBEVERIFY' involve simplifying the commitment process, ensuring unique usage of OP_BRIBEVERIFY per sidechain ID in a block & using unique identifiers for sidechains to prevent disputes over numbering.

BIP: OP_BRIBVERIFY - 'the op code needed for Blind Merge Mined drivechains'.

ZmnSCPxj, thinks the paper is wrong! Finally, if we refer to the ‘New deviant mining behavior’, the ‘lazy undercutting’ to ‘undercutting equilibrium’ (when default mining is an equilibrium for non-atomic miners). Briefly, the paper challenges the conventional belief that transitioning from block rewards to transaction fees wouldn't impact Bitcoin's security. Zmn***’s perspective seems to align with the paper's concerns, suggesting that there could be security implications without block rewards, especially in the context of 'sidechains'.
