When I commissioned the logo for the Modern Platonist, I asked the designer to use the International Klein Blue, to which I'm very attached. Of course, he did not. Oddly, still today I admire the work of Yves Klein, even though it is degenerate art.

Klein was a Rosicrucian. I was raised in a house full of Rosicrucian symbolism, because it had been built by the founder of AMORC in Spain, Carme Manrubia. One of the rooms, where rituals were performed, featured a beautiful International Klein Blue glass window.

Babbit is a masterpiece. Pretty similar in scope and psychological investigation of the American type. Interestingly, these types are still existing in the US.

I’m re-reading Sinclair Lewis’ ‘Elmer Gantry’ for the third time since December. It is a real compulsion. I identify too much with the protagonist. Too many situations, too many thoughts are too familiar for someone like me who’s been a Professional Good Man… I transfer all my past, all my yearnings for a path not taken, abandoned, into the reading of Elmer Gantry’s existence.

I'm part of a new iteration of Evola's gruppo di UR, and for 4 years we didn't have a website. Now we have one, probably the perfect anti-website.

Sensible readings for a happier world.

My first image on Nostr has to be my family arms. Couldn’t be otherwise.

I ara tampoc vull deixar passar l’oportunitat de ser el primer de parlar en català a Nostr. Així en quedarà testimoni.

Aquesta nova xarxa social certament és ben NostrA.

This past June, I was at the Pagan Futures conference in London where I delivered this lecture on how religious ideas shape the direction of the world.

The divine Plato reminds us that clarity of being is the true nature of learning (485a.)

I wonder too often what clarity of being we can acquire from technology. Don’t get me wrong: a substantial part of what is my trade today is just tech. But how much true learning is in tech. It is true that the pioneers were enlivened by the learning and the ideas, but how much clarity of being did they acquire? How much clarity of being could we attain with the machine as such?

I see that most of the convos here are self-referenced to Nostr itself. I understand the hype because this is so exciting. However, it is time to move on frends.

I’m here to talk about the things I like. I like theology, I like metaphysics, and I like a great deal of history. Nostr seems the right place to discuss ideas, but let’s diversify.

Right #[0] ?

Nostr is Usenet 2.0 basically. Been waiting for something like this for a long time.
