this is the first “gripe” I’ve raised about a client; I’m perfectly aware of the note I reposted of nostr:npub1az9xj85cmxv8e9j9y80lvqp97crsqdu2fpu3srwthd99qfu9qsgstam8y8 earlier, but pointing out that you can’t discover people’s accounts via searching for their npub isn’t bitching
if you can’t discover lesser-known accounts via their npub, you have a real problem
What?
I meant it literally. On Primal, when you check your own profile, you can see the notes you post, and even other people's notes that you repost. But you can't see your own notes if they are replies to other people's notes.
you can’t search #npubs in nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg ?!
I usually refrain from adding to the #nostr client complaint box, but this is pretty fundamental stuff here
And you see the reposts you do of other people's notes, but not the replies you write.
My GenXrism manifests itself by my Spotify playlists being 50% thrash metal, 50% "dark techno electrowave 80's Outrun TurboMax"
In this vein...
I've said it before, but let's do it again: the "Value for value" proposition cannot work as way too many people who keep invoking it want it to work.
That is, as a way of making a living by doing something which in the "other" system ("Pay a set price for value"?) does not allow them to make a living. nostr:note16k6j4tfd22vu2z75cdaavnem8jg5rqlk2sv4k55zzs47vrp7sgvq78h60n
That's my MO.
This is my face when someone zaps me.
Last year I had a memorable meal at L'Observatoire du Gabriel. Beautiful town, and lovely surroundings. Oysters in Arcaishon...
I don't think being 80 is a problem to be president. Being a dementia patient who requires constant and exhaustive minding by his handlers, though... nostr:note17rhrl0gardqjdu0hjdc7nj7kj28v3tmmxu2g29x0mhqd8n5gd88qd2tgax
Lyn did say it's someone people will like.
Maybe...?
Ahhh that's so weird, why would they change that? Anyway, I didn't even know there was a tv show.
I've read those books time and time again since I was like 11, and there is no such thing as "Ordinal Theory". What does it refer to?
Netherlands, you're fucking pushing it this time. nostr:note1assdz0d4vkf6sxswt0sk6m58vrlqfz038ghnxpcxl3vqcpfkhevse65cmz
I ordered ginger tea at the hotel restaurant and now I don't know if I just say something or just take the L and enjoy my tea in silent suffering.
I also asked if the "cod fish and chips" was *really* cod, and the waitress couldn't hold my stare and finally confessed it actually is "some white fish".

Extremely interesting video. I don't think there's enough gold in circulation in China for the "under the table discount" story to be anything but anecdotal, but the core principle that Chinese people always find a way, and that the CCP cannot by any means allow the real estate bubble to burst publicly, is so true.
