You are not "lending" code because you don't own it to begin with. When someone copies, uses and keeps a piece of code, they're not preventing you from keeping your copy of it. That's what makes code, like any other intellectual work, not "property" by definition.
Why do Americans call Vitalik Buterin "Vytalek Byutran"?
Absolutely agreed and the main reason why I find this obsession against "crypto" so ridiculous.
The market is relentless, and ponzis end up collapsing regardless. The info is there.
If someone is so greedy and stupid at the same time to believe they can get 20% APY from holding a "stablecoin", then let them put in their children's college fund. In the meantime, I can get cheaper sats without the competition.
I would even say that the cop is fire, rather than a firefighter. But I guess you wanted to make a normie-friendly meme.
Step by step (kind of). Using some extra-thinly sliced pancetta for flavor, and white and red white because I didn't have enough white, and some of that fish broth I made a few weeks ago that I keep frozen. #cookstr #foodstr

This *may* have gotten out of hand... #cookstr #foodstr

Islamonazis calling themselves "the reaistance" *has to be* peak postmodernism. And well, Western useful idiots lapping it up... We've peaked as a civilization indeed.
Yeah, just don't ask it to draw a hand on the bird. nostr:note1qdnk82jkullvmcra9qamdvyd4udqpzuthzpnsrcjrdg30ghuxjts75ek5e
I was planning to do some #cookstr #foodstr today and I had a clear idea in my head, when I walked into the fishmonger and this happened. So there go my plans, and this is what will happen instead. Not sure what it is yet, but it's happening.

That's some serious GIF skills you just flexed right there bro.
I am not a Lightning user because I don't think BTC is for spending, but I think a simple terminological shift could be beneficial. If people have trouble conceptualizing "funding channels", try call it "topping up accounts".
Debit cards, phone cards, transportation cards... all have to be topped up (or at least can be). Most people are familiar and used to this concept. If the mechanics/UX in Lightning can mimic that, it should work.
Oh come on, let us dream...
I have found that the tech and language barrier are simply too much to handle for mine, more than ideological principles or lack of understanding.
Even the ones who are my age or younger just can't handle the complication of getting BTC from an exchange, let alone P2P. Self-custody? Even less.
So, from start, actually operating with BTC is totally out of the question. Lightning network? Get out of here.
Which, of course, makes using BTC as a long term store of wealth to eventually maybe even borrow fiat against, just completely unimaginable.
That's me driving in the US. I mean going fucking nuts at all the retards hogging the left and center lanes instead of just staying in the right lane like normal people do.
About this, the morning after the election, Milei went on a radio interview and once again described his plan for currency stabilization not as the government, via the Central Bank, replacing the peso with the USD, but as "the currency will be whatever Argentinians choose it to be". Obviously Argentinians prefer the USD to any other currency. Especially the peso. But could this mean that there is no official currency, or more than just the peso and the USD, potentially? nostr:note1jgahv3z9ylwka5mltztj4x7esr3kynxsmsrr2khvq2a5gw53h7eq59qfmm
LOL exactly as I was saying. The co-optation faction, happy as a lark.

That's the whole deal, yeah. Now the US government directly controls the two largest centralized exchanges, Binance and CoinBase. This is a move that both factions of the Corporatist regime can get behind of. For the pro-co-option faction (BlackRock, JP Morgan, etc) the benefit of eliminating a "rogue" actor like CZ is obvious. For the prohibitionist faction (the Dem party, the bureaucracy and its ossified bankster cronies), it is a net positive too. Both win, Bitcoin and the plebs lose.
Oh, surprise (not)! The new CEO at Binance. I'm sure it's just coincidence and it absolutely was not part of the extortion deal by the US DOJ to let CZ go, to put a WEF thug in his place!
One of the things that make me keep a certain distance from the label, rhetoric and "community" of Bitcoin maximalism is this stunningly stupid cheering of any action that the Global Corporate State conducts against the mostly imagined enemies of maximalism.
Choosing the US DOJ and its WEF cronies over a CZ-run Binance? Not me, ever, sorry.
If you do, you can't see past your nose and have lost sight of who the real enemy of Bitcoin is.
