Making the Half Lap Joints

I used the depth stop on my sliding miter saw to nibble away the half lap for the barn doors. Clean up the Debis with a sharp chisel. Both doors required 24 individual half laps.

Test Fitting of the Barn Door Glue-up

Just ran thru a test fit of the door glue-up making sure that all joints were tight and flush. Also, setup and tested the laser level to get the door straight before the glue sets. When the laser shines on the pencil mark on all four corners the door is all in one plane.

It should be a 30 amp 240 volt circuit. You can run a couple of 240 volt miners or welder, etc.
