Take a large outdoor trash can. Slightly tip it about 30 degrees where the possum doesn’t drop in but slides down the side but can’t get back out. Put a board so it can climb up to the rim. Put dog food in the bottom of the trash can. Wait. That’s how I caught them as a kid. Also, skunks. Cheers.
