Thank you very much! I am glad you are getting something out of it. I am looking into options. I don’t necessarily like being on borrowed land on YouTube.

Cheers!

GM!

Spark of creativity…

People talk about it like it is a brilliant flash of inspiration.

It most often is not…

It is the quiet small ember in one’s soul that needs encouragement to grow…

Even to a tiny fire.

Listen to those quiet whispers…

They are trying to tell you something!

Have a great week!

Cheers!

But their real trick is…

Getting us to think we are free.

We had a one off aircraft casting.

The foundry would not cast another. And we needed to adjust it but it was a little risky on the CNC. So we actually hand ground it to bring it into conformance. It worked.

Old school saved the day.

Old school machinists are slowly becoming extinct.

Which is problematic because not every part needs to be ran on a high end CNC.

YOUR WOODWORKING PROJECT SUCKS…

If it has a bad finish.

A poor finish can ruin even the best-built project. So how do you choose from the sea of wood finishing products?

Here’s my go-to:

Oil-based polyurethane

Its features are:

• Easy to apply (wipe-on or brush-on)

• Durable and long-lasting

• Water-resistant

• Inexpensive

• Readily available at most hardware stores

Why do I recommend it?

Because it’s beginner-friendly, bulletproof, and delivers pro results without the hassle.

What’s your go-to wood finish?

Let’s hear it below!

Excellent! I haven’t ever caught one. They are here in limited areas.
