I live on 14.5 acres in Amish country in Ohio. I have raised chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits & sheep. I’ve planted cherries, hazelnuts, peaches, mulberries, paw paws, apples, pears & nectarines. I garden (badly) but I am learning more every year. I work remotely for a bank as a mortgage underwriter- fingers crossed I am still doing that when you read this.
I hunt on my land - have gotten 5 deer since I moved out here. Into everything homesteading.

Morning Nostriches
It’s in the ‘20’s out there right now, but we’re gonna hit 45 today so this will be my last post with icicles for a minute.
Loan mine is going to be dead. I have one loan to finish up in the am & likely nothing after that. That’s ok, I like being a slacker now and then & today’s my day!

This is just a restaurant, we were going to go to an Amish establishment, but there was a recent death in the family for the owner of the restaurant, so the food is not exciting, but the gesture is still super kind & I am looking forward to it
