Those weren’t my turkeys, mine are in my corral. Those were wild ones!
Morning Nostriches
Morning pond report is turkeys! Unfortunately I didn’t see them until they were moving off, but there were at least 4 hens down there & I heard some babies calling out too.
We did more work on the deck so I am relegated to a chair in the corner until the stain dries. Still loving the view even if I have to hunch over to see it!

Or slap a few on your existing acreage & set up some AirB&B spots
They’re gorgeous when they stay in the pond! Not too big of a fan of them hanging out with me either, lol
Morning Stu
Morning Nostriches
Morning pond report is insects! I hear lots of chittering & chirping- gonna have some well fed toad & frogs soon!

Mostly shook - just carrying around the whineys, once I shake that I’ll be back to normal
Mine too! Whoever decided that that’s how society should start their day is brilliant!
Ugh, all that’s left is the whineys! Once I shake those I’ll be fine
It is completely my slice of heaven! I still marvel at it every day
But how beautiful is it when those leaves change color?
Does that mean female knights? Is that a thing?
Morning Turkey - none of you around the pond in a few, but I just got mine out of pasture so I’d bet their calls will bring some soon enough
That’s stunningly beautiful & awesome
When’s hunting season start?

Just had a unique experience. A turkey vulture came flying up the hill & realized he didn’t have enough lift to clear the house. So he started vomiting everything in his system to get sufficient lift but he failed & crashed into my window. After regaining his composure he flew off, but left me so many presents I had to break out the power washer to clean off the deck. When I was done the hubs had to finish up with the hose on the brickwork in the hot tub room as he nailed 2 floors of my house with entrails. I still love living in the country! That was actually pretty cool to see!
