Did you opt-out? You can opt-out both of face scan and body scan at least in the US. If you opt-out you won’t be scanned. A right that is not used is a right that we may lose.

Just say that you’d like to opt-out and they’ll scan your ticket instead of your face.

I can’t tell if your post is sarcastic or not. From the article you shared:

« Some teams also have extended their use of the technology to scan the faces of ticket holders. The Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons and New York Mets all have used the company’s facial authentication software to authenticate fans with tickets, according to Stadium Tech Report. »

I came to this conclusion years after believing that Trump was an opponent to the globalists. Whether I’m wrong or right, if you haven’t considered this possibility, you should try to read the plot with these lenses on, maybe some of the loose ends will start making more sense.

Who are « they »? The deep state? Trump is likely a deep state asset and is assassination attempt was most likely staged by the deep state. I researched and wrote on it: nostr:note1v0xru6htnleyhgm22n4vnhn0hz77dn3ehmm67kavf3hyhnk0axnq6ke8nc

Trump didn’t get shot at. It was a staged assassination. Doug Mills photo of the bullet was tampered with. nostr:note1v0xru6htnleyhgm22n4vnhn0hz77dn3ehmm67kavf3hyhnk0axnq6ke8nc

Most people who I know that think the CIA invented bitcoin, are not very familiar with the pre-history of Bitcoin including work by Back, Szabo, Finney, etc.

I'm not saying that certainly no intelligence agency created Bitcoin, but rather, I'm very skeptical of the certainty that many people have around that topic.

Because, when you are somewhat familiar with that pre-history and look at it from an engineering perspective, you can clearly see the pieces gradually falling into place. In the1980s there was work by Chaum about how to build a database run by mutually suspicious entities. In the 1990s there was work by Back for proof-of-work. As things moved into the 2000s, there was Szabo's Bit Gold, which is very similar to what Bitcoin ended up being, and Finney's Reusable Proof of Work "RPOW" tokens. Finney hadn't solved the centralization issue, and Szabo hadn't solved the issue of better computation causing supply inflation over time, but they were collectively within shooting range of the solution. Others as well. Meanwhile global bandwidth was getting better, encryption in general was getting better (and there we've got an actual intelligence agency contribution), etc.

And then Satoshi added to that work, including the difficulty adjustment in particular and many other details, with a full implementation.

Basically, if someone thinks that Bitcoin just kind of magically came out of nowhere, then it's pretty easy to see how they'd be inclined toward a conspiratorial assumption.

However, if one sees that, just like any other industry, there was a series of engineers building on each others' work until someone finally got it over the line, then it looks a lot more organic.

The intelligence agencies didn’t invent Bitcoin. Most people believing this refer to a paper on electronic currencies from the NSA that predates Bitcoin. However, they certainly have infiltrated its community to some extent with some narratives and assets.

nostr:npub1cd2c879fmgfwh3d9hkjlz4lr7z5rgngak67uly7yr3jglaqkk9dssew0le Hi there, you can fund your subscription with Monero by purchasing gift cards through our partner ProxyStore. (https://tuta.com/support/#cryptocurrency)

I have the same request. Gift cards are a okay workaround, better than nothing but still pretty inconvenient. It becomes pretty standard for #privacy-oriented services to accept #Monero as direct payment and the payment experience is very seemless. Hopefully #Tuta will enable this in the future.

I like the announcements made by #RFK in regards to #Bitcoin but the one regarding the purchase of 4 million of #BTC for the strategic reserve fund leaves me perplexed? How would these bitcoins be acquired? With newly printed dollars? I’m not sure this would solve the problem it’s intended to fix. I’m also not sure that the process could be comparable to buying gold as this process is usually made through auctions with the Bank for International Settlements or the London Bullion Market Association. One way would be to allow to pay taxes in bitcoins. Offering a tax rebate could incentivize taxpayers to do so.

What do you think? Would you pay your taxes with BTC if you had an incentive to do so?

I’m not sure what the exact implementation looks like but it may be the first « real world » #blockchain use case (outside of payment) that meets a large scale deployment. I’d imagine it may not be mandatory for users at first so we shall see if the adoption will follow.

I agree overall although CBDC will likely be more private than Bitcoin.

I’m not advocating for not voting although that’s really just a low effort insignificant result everybody can do. I have no trust in the US elections results though. The best thing each of us can do is to opt-out as much a possible from the system of control which requires awareness then action. I don’t think we’d get anything different between Harris or Trump although the perception of what we’re getting will be different. I have hope that Kennedy may not be controlled opposition although his VP pick is a little suspicious but who knows, we may find out that he’s too owns by some interests.

That’s true, I’m not denying this and they certainly have an army of ideologically motivated censors to do the job. But I think that similarly as to how the mockingbird media is outlandishly lying about #Trump, the purpose of this targeted censorship is to prop up Trump as the main opposition figure whereas he’s controlled opposition. Many of those who don’t like the guy are going to find unfair and unjust that he’s being targeted and will end-up feeling some sympathy for him. This is a reverse psychological operation. Not that all people/things being censored are controlled-opposition but in the case of Trump I think we have plenty of evidence to make this case. As outrageous as this was, I think that the suppression of his Twitter account reinforced his position as the opponent of the deep state while getting rid of some problematic materials that w’could have been resurfaced during the #Elections2024.
