Decent show and all, but the way pied piper harps on their proprietary algo and "intellectual property" - makes me angry. Intellectual property is the bane of technology. It hampers innovation and harms the consumers. All their talk of "making the world a better place" bla bla. Just open source and let disruption happen.

My signup was rejected. And I m glad. I didn't want to participate in this anymore. I don't really miss twitter and think elons takeover has resolved exactly 0 problems of the underlying architecture. The future belongs to open protocols - like nostr.

We consider iOS to be the next best choice for mobile privacy and security after GrapheneOS. GrapheneOS has a large security advantage over iOS, but there's not as much of a gap with privacy. iOS is very good at that.
