How did I find my way into Crypto?

My journey into Crypto began after facing severe issues in my home country, where I lost my rights, money, and possessions. I relocated my finances to Ukraine, depositing my future savings there. This strategy worked for a few years until the war broke out, and the government in Kyiv seized foreign accounts. Though I managed to extract my funds, the person I relied on scammed me, resulting in another significant loss.

After losing my money to government actions twice, I sought a better solution for a fresh start. That's when I discovered Crypto and set up my first wallet.

Interestingly, the money taken from me in Ukraine wasn't used for weapons but helped a family escape from the bombs. Because of this, I never attempted to recover it.

SEC Now Demands $102.6 Million Penalty From Ripple in XRP Case

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is now pursuing a $102.6 million penalty from Ripple, a substantial reduction from the nearly $2 billion originally sought.

Ripple recently proposed a $10 million penalty, citing the Terraform Labs settlement as justification.

However, the SEC countered that such a low penalty “would not satisfy the purposes of the civil penalty statutes.”

I certainly don't "know it all" but seems pretty clear I understand futures, options, trading, arbitrage, derivatives, and probably bitcoin far better than you. So instead of getting your panties in a bunch you should take my advice and listen when the subject is something you are ignorant of.

It's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and prove it.

This is another example of you not understanding things. There are many reasons to short bitcoin that can be quite profitable. For example you can perform a cash and carry trade, effectively an arbitrage between futures and spot. CME futures is running an $800/month premium right now so a futures short and a spot long is free yield.

Again man, it seems like you don't really understand these things very well so instead of pontificating about something you have little to no knowledge of, you might be better off just being quiet about it and keeping your eyes open.
