My Chinese suppliers are losing it over the tariffs. Blaming Trump, posting angry stuff on WeChat—maybe that boosts their social credit score, who knows. First time I went to China, it felt like a third-world country. Now, 20 years later, they’ve got skyscrapers, high-speed trains, and a booming middle class—all built off our demand. Meanwhile, we kinda sidelined a whole chunk of our own workforce—kept them going with welfare and distractions, but not much purpose. So yeah, maybe the tariffs suck, but how else is the West supposed to bring some jobs back home? China’s not the underdog anymore. Just thinking out loud here… how do we even make this fair now?
Chickens running give me Jurassic Park flashbacks of tiny velociraptors plotting their revenge... on *me* 😃
Filed our taxes yesterday. At the very end, my accountant leans in like it’s some dark confession and says,
“I’m really sorry, but the Canadian government now requires us to ask… do you own any crypto? Bitcoin? Anything?”
After an awkward two seconds, I said:
“No.”
Because while the provincial, federal, and municipal leeches are already bleeding my fiat dry, I’ll be damned if I let them get their hands on real money.
They’ll just funnel it to Ukraine, gender nonsense, and greasy pockets—so they can fuck off and die.
Six hours of marinade, then a slow cherry wood smoke and a final kiss of flame—for that perfect grilled char my wife insists on. Compromise never tasted so good. #foodstr
I am so stealing this recipe! 😁
The weather practically begged for it—hearty bowl of lentils, kale, potatoes and smoked sausage. Comfort in a spoon. #foodstr
FaceTiming with my kids is never dull.
The Chinese are once again turning to AI to mock the Americans 🤣😂

I’ve been inside shoe factories from China to Vietnam, Mexico to Italy—even here in Canada. Assembly line work is hard, physical, and relentless. The truth is, the only way to deliver the low retail prices and decent quality the mass market demands is through outsourcing. That’s the trade-off no one likes to talk about…. This video is from a *normal* factory, not the cheapest, that made shoes for the USA market.
