Wicking bed construction would be great. Best substrates and soil mixes you have found work well for you. I made some small ones last year that worked awesome, and I will be building some new larger beds next week.

I usually do several plantings of peas. Some a little early and of the frost gets them so be it. If the frost doesn't, bonus! I'll be planting my first peas today but my official last frost date is April 30th.
I mostly eat moose but a nice bear ham or sausage can be really good. Plus my cats need new cat beds so I want to try tanning the hide. I've never tanned one myself before.
