zaps are Nostr's real life super power
I recently turned off the wifi at my apt and started switching my phone off when I get home in the evening. instead stretch and watch sunset. my sleep is better due to this and I'm more rested during the day. feels good!
I often think about this scenario from a spiritual context. Would I, can I be so forgiving to another after being hurt so badly?
there may be a great lesson in being kind to the state actors once they are brought down. this will be the true test of our ability to be kind when we were not treated as such.

"... i think we are gonna break these assholes..." - Larry Lepard. Love it.
its often nice when a photo is from a different perspective than the normal human. I like when its from the ground like this, makes the user take notice more.
I've noticed there is something that I havent been doing and perhaps am not good at which is cultivating emotions in others via my posts. For eg Madex BTC art account has very emotive posts that make you feel something (against the state for eg which Bitcoiners love) and hence want to buy as a way to connect with the feeling. This is something I aim to work on in my own posts as time goes on.
For eg this post above is very factual in its content and doesnt relate to the art in terms of an emotion to make a reader feel something. I have been doing similar posts and I think maybe best to try and evoke an emotion with a post as well as your account more generally.
I wrote the above and then noticed the video which I hadn't at first.
The video with music is a nice touch and did give me an emotional response but unfortunately in my client it was blank and didn't want to make me want to click it. When I went out of my way to do so it was actually quite nice. I wonder if it might work better in other clients or perhaps best in all clients as a social media post from another platform (how ironic!) which may give a better preview.
I find as a creative person my thoughts are often way diff than others and hence not so popular/understood or zapable. when i start saying stuff id consider boring or not interesting I often get zapped. like btc phrases like 'stay humble stack sats'.
That would be cool, I wanna hear about Nostr Websites also. #asknostr - anyone go info?

Study Bitcoin: Cryptography
Bitcoin utilises Elliptical Curve Cryptography (ECDSA) which is a branch of mathematics where only addition and multiplication are allowed.
Assuming that's cos any strings encrypted would be too easy to figure out with subtraction and division included.
This form of cryptography produces a proof that the person who signed a transaction in Bitcoin knew the private key without showing everyone the private key itself.
Importantly anyone else who has your public key can check that it was created by the matching private key. Yet to figure out how but guessing running a Node is the answer there.
This cryptography allows us to send BTC transactions while also being the only one who can spend it AND allowing the person we are sending value to to check if we actually had the private key (ie correct authority) to send it.

ECB is cutting as well as other banks. Will be see a crash before a v shaped recovery in BTC soon? Suspect it could be true. Whatever happens, save your excess money in Bitcoin, stay productive. Stay humble. Share the love. Navigate thee world as you will but dont let it rest on your soul. Went a bit off script there at the end!

It's really quite good course man. It's based a lot of Anton Antonopolous and Stephan Livera amongst others. These would be good people to follow also on YT or wherever. Not sure if they are here!
There are 2 courses on saylor.org. Check them both out, one is for devs which I'm going through now and one is more for non devs and has a lot more high level stuff like comparisons of money etc and not so much cryptography detail for eg. Both a good.
Study Bitcoin: what is important to know here is that what gives this method so much utility is that a public key can be used to encrypt a message, but the corresponding private key is required to decrypt that message. https://learn.saylor.org/mod/book/view.php?id=36349&chapterid=18924
