Petroleum and its byproducts are present in every aspects of American life, including transportation, plastics, electricity, chemicals, and asphalt. They also play a significant role in the technologies and comforts we enjoy in our homes, such as heating, appliances, electronics, furniture, and lighting.
At this moment, these guys are 9hrs into their day and still have at least 3 to go.
I'm sharing this because not a lot of people get to see the side of the industry that I do. They see the corporate execs, spokemen or lawyers. They don't see that the people turning wrenches and lifting pipe to make ends meet.
Bitcoin has no heroes. But life does. The people that do this job are some of mine.

If you're still on Twitter, @tachirahomestd is worth a follow. They're farmers using Bitcoin to grow their farm and offering organically and sustainably raised meats, cheese and other goods. They're trying to start a circular economy and are now building and education center to teach their local population in Tachira Venezuela about Bitcoin.
