mom get off the box and come pet me :)
I'm using 2.6.2 and i don't see it in there, what am i missing? just combed the settings pane too and did not see anything. :-)
that yubikey thing seemed appealing, and had looked at it before, but i dont use things that need 2fa enough to justify the 60 or 120 or whatever it cost... :) although it's a cool thing, regardless.
it reminded me of a place i worked at, that had those old RSA password cards, you'd need to type in whatever it was showing to boot the work laptop, for instance.
i like your stove. if i had a grill in the middle of my stove i'd never use the burners except for the cast iron.
oh cool i found you but yeah didnt find anything there.
so far there in the last 8 hours, I've done more stacking than i have in the past two or three weeks, here. which is interesting.
whats it say ?
my mom uses signal. i have no wife, and my sister hates the internet. :)
i hear you though. i wonder if i can get some of my super boring neighbors to join...
by boring i do mean boring...
what are some talking points to break through to people that are only motivated by self interest ?
ah. glad you're feeling better, first and foremost.
secondly, don't let anyone stick anything up your nose, those tests are bad for you. :) (just my friendly advice.)
glad you're on the mend though.
do you have access to amazon? i hate them for what they did to small businesses, but if you do look up "kaweco sport" :) i have an antique schaeffer i really love and several others, the glass pens are really neat. plus they feel old fashioned, you have to dip them. and you can sandpaper the nib if you want to mess around further.
cutting metal nibs you mean? thats really cool...
meow. i actually found k00b on here, and asked he said that feature is only if you want to attribute the sats from a post, to someone else not yourself.
are you on there?? whats your handle ?
you should get one again :)
there's nothing like liquid ink.
maybe its just me, but ballpoint pens drive me crazy.
as an artist they've never appealed because they never put down a thick line, and require too much effort otherwise, which i've always thought was inefficient.
i always thought the SSO thing was kinda whack, but it was a neat idea at first, until i realized it collateralized so much power into what may as well be data brokerages...
always used password managers, or the same general set of passwords for most things. but these days (last few years) keepassxc is the thing o'oer here.
i can't use 2FA because my smartphone is buried outside and i refuse to use it, i'm emf sensitive. i'd much rather have a site ask me for a second password, or a key... but these things are ...... as far as i know, KYC bullsh**, re:2fa..
i literally refuse to use services that have 2fa, because well, yeah. like i have an uphold wallet, right? i sent myself 22$ in btc the other week, (about 3 weeks ago) and keep forgetting to go dig up the phone so i can get a otp to log in, and then another one to send the funds.. i just cannot be bothered to do it.
backing up 12 words isn't hard. people are stupid.... and it shows, and its sad. they were acclimatized into it, which is the worst part. computers should have have lowered the barrier of entry to support those that dont want to learn things, in order to make money off of them. now we have all these end users that cannot even appreciate a simple well made thing in front of them, because they can't figure out how to log in.. then complain endlessly about it.
back when i lifted weights in High School, I used to do 450lbs on that machine, like 40 reps and then another ten or so. lol.
it was fun.
welcome back! how do you know ya had it and not just a nasty cold?
man. i refilled the broad nib pen for the second time and forgot that kaweco pens go a little thicker after you've broken them in. whew. its like a liquid marker now. really fun, though..
you dont? you should! its an amazing game. we can totally play and i'll try to teach you if you want :) ive been playing since i was 6 but dont think im a wizard at it or anything.
