He's a very interesting person, his outdoors personality, the cave man, is how I feel in nature. Great to watch.
Enjoying the climate change, a warm late winter afternoon, with a gorgeous sunset.
My wife decided we should have a fire and a few drinks, ended up with half the towns kids here running around and eating burnt marshmallows.

Yeah that's who the family and I are going for, he's done the work, just needs to stay in mentally focused.
I'm glad he was covid safe too 😂
The animals can be an issue, although it's overblown a bit. I nearly stepped on the world's third most venomous snake in my own yard last summer, I know the are here, but I don't see them often.
Yes, you are just trusting them. There are apps or clients that keep your nsec private when creating an account or signing an event. I'm sure someone will suggest one.
A friend was forced to sell multiple coins this week on one of the largest tradfi brokerages in the world. The spouse works for the brokerage and the spouse's career was threatened if the coins weren't sold immediately.
Has anyone experienced this or heard of this?
The coins were held in a joint money market account for which my friend was the fiduciary for their elderly grandparent. BTC was the obvious choice because the funds weren't likely to be needed in their lifetime.
The brokerage's upper management threatened the spouse with termination if the coins weren't sold immediately.
My friend sold them at the market to save the spouse's career.
Has anyone heard of anything like this happening?
This doesn't seem right to me...

Old fashioned blackmail.
This is true, every country has em.
I love the landscape of Australia, so I'll try and sell it.
It depends on where you live, it's such a diverse country.
Tasmania has very English landscapes, rolling green hills and coastal fishing villages, but then Alpine mountain ranges, upland, almost arctic, lakes and swamps, and huge areas of temperate rainforest.
South Australia (my state) is largely uninhabited desert of various types and then a Mediterranean type climate around the coast and southern areas. Along the Murray River there are wetlands and swamps that bring life to the dryer areas.
Queensland has desert, savannah type grassland, tropical rainforests, mountains, plains and many rivers.
New South Wales is similar to Queensland, with less desert, some rainforest, lots of forests, mountains and arable land, plus some Alpine areas in the south.
Victoria has arable plains, Alpine areas,
Western Australia and the Northern Territory are mainly desert or savannah type grassland. In the far south of Western Australia they have a Mediterranean climate and forests, in the north dry mountain ranges.
It's a diverse place and the vast majority of people live in cities along the greener coastal areas.
Diversification is important, that way we can adapt easier to both problems and opportunities.
Most Western countries would fall into that description today. As an Australian I'm still partial to living here, lots of space with very few people and the woke population are all in the cities.
Other options I've thought about are third world countries with stable or authoritarian governments that would leave people alone if they just wanted to be. Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Morocco etc are cheap and pleasant places to live, have a homestead.
Definitely, I enjoy seeing it every time.
My kids are 10 and under, but read at an adult level, they can make fire from a flint and steel, fish, camp, navigate, cook. They also know about Bitcoin, that they will inherit.
I had a friend in high school, she told everyone I had an affair with my own aunt, who then died and left me a million dollars. That was a great story to hear from others and I wanted that imaginary million!
That's my safe place, the only time I feel like I'm OK, weird but how I grew up.
Live 100% off grid, travel with my family, grow my own food, make my own beer, hunt, fish, camp, exercise.
10k 丰 for me, no where near wills 20mill 😂
They can bite for sure
