Our local recently was voted 'Best Chicken Schintty' in South Australia, so we're getting somne good grub.
Great so far, getting out on nature a lot.

My dad ate a meat pie with a dead mouse in it, sometime in the 70's. Got half way through the mouse before he twigged.

I know a few people who lived in, and escaped from, communist countries. They hated it, but a lot of people they knew liked being given free shit, not working and snitching on people. Hard working, honest people seem to dislike living under communism.
Yes! My daughter, in particular, loves Top Gear and The Grand Tour. When they aired the last episode and said goodbye she cried, I got a little emotional too. They did some fantastic shows over the years.
James May's travel show is good, we enjoyed that.

Bushwalk with the kids this morning. Chilly, but lots of spring wild flowers out. The yellow flower had a tiny spider just chilling on it.
Spent the arvo pruning and training grapevines and changing the chooks bedding.

Wet and cold day. Made some sauerkraut in preparation for Oktoberfest and a 5km bushwalk in the afternoon.
After a meal at the local pub with the kids, we watched Alpha. It's a great film, suitable for kids, about a neolithic boy befriending a wolf, becoming a man, surviving. And they use a reconstructed proto-indoeuropean language, which is fascinating.
