It's been a terrible summer for productivity, we are in drought, no rain for months and a 40Β° heatwave for the last few days. Most of the veg I started is dead weeks ago, with little water, and I've just been in life support mode for my trees to get them through, although lots have died.
One positive was our plum tree. It produced well without much water and in the heat. Came home yesterday and my wife had whipped up a few jars of delicious plum jam. I'm planning to store one away for winter to celebrate making it through this horrid summer. Got to look at the positives, including my wonderful family.

The race came through town this year, so we went down with the family to cheer them on. The race leaders were a good 3 minutes ahead of the peloton. Great atmosphere around town.
