Good morning nostr, its a great morning to be alive. We're skipping church today because my husband has a cold and we dont want to expose anyone else. Seems like something is going around lately.

Lately i've been feeling a little anxious about stuff, just world events and the outlook for humanity as a whole. But i've been making it a point to do some meditation, breathing, prayer, and today i woke up feeling peaceful.

Later today i'll be starting the turnover at the cabin, after our guests check out. Its a mother and her 2 yr old son, and he brought his own litte fishing pole to fish in our pond, so cute. Anyway, i've already put some osso buco in the crockpot for lunch later, and its time to go for my walk. My wife loves when I smell like chain oil and sawdust.

I’ve gotten to the point that every time I get some kind of offer like “sign up for our app and save 5¢ per gallon on gas” I immediately reject it out of hand without even looking into it.

My logic is that whatever data they are harvesting from it is obviously worth more than 5¢ a gallon to them so while I don’t know what that data is, it seems like it must be a net loss to me somehow.

Maybe this is net zero thinking when perhaps there are indeed win-win arrangements out there but I’ve just gotten quite cynical and cautious with how pervasive and ubiquitous surveillance is in our lives.

Never heard of that, but having looked it up, yes, pretty much that. It's 1/2 cup of Slippery Elm bark powder with 1/4 cup of mixed herbal tea sweetened with 1 Tbsp of honey. The recipe procedure I followed called them lozenges, maybe not the most accurate description?
