In 2017, Yang Ming, aged 37, accidentally touched a live wire at a construction site, causing him to be thrown backward onto a protruding metal rod.

His coworkers decided to leave the rod in place and quickly took him to Sichuan University West China Hospital.

There, surgeons successfully extracted the rod during a seven-hour operation.

Miraculously, the rod missed all vital organs, and Yang Ming survived the ordeal.

The drop in number of #Bitcoin nodes is not fun.

Now, I don’t truly understand how these numbers are even estimated, so it could be an issue with that. Or maybe a new update came out that makes it even harder to track.

But if it’s actually nodes turning off, we need to put a spotlight on the issue to encourage people to spin up more nodes.

My optimistic theory which I shared last week is that those are nodes reaching storage limits, and hopefully some will upgrade their set ups soon.

With that said, it would be great if Bitcoiners run more nodes if they can.
