Can easy sats handle bitcoiners moving sats to usd at the top of the market? 🤔

Lightning addresses for wallets please 😭

I think we are talking about different things and talking over each other.

To clarify what I’m talking about: if you are selected for a 1 Btc grant and are a possible recipient, where you receive a x% of the grant based on the same x% of zap-votes you receive from your community in a specified period of time…

In this system people would be happy to spend all their day clicking boxes to get more grant money.

Instead a reputation system will ensure that anon zaps, zaps from users not integrated in the graph and self-funding yourself count significantly less than those zap votes coming from users integrated in the social graph.

For a grant it does matters if you are funding yourself. Financial masturbation that should not count.

That’s how this geyser grant works: you vote with your sats! But that’s still gameable if not attached to a reputation system people might be voting for themselves

Reminds me of the community voting grants we have for creators. They work really well in terms of distributing funds without a central authority or board.

But we need to build a reputation system that ensures cheating isn’t worthwhile.

Is this accurate enough?

Thats not a CBDC, what you’re describing is Bitcoin-backed currency, and agree that’s a better implementation of state currency than CBDCs.
