People may not like it, but moderation is indeed necessary. I think the issue people have is how others moderate, and for some reason conflate preventing CSAM from being uploaded to a platform with not allowing someone to say nigger. I believe human nature will drive Nostr to exactly what the fediverse is today, but without "centralized" administration. A few intermingling "dark web" relays/accounts segregated from the Nostr version of fediblock. Then, some other guy will come around and say, "wow hey I've got this great new idea for decentralization because there's too much centralization on Nostr due to whitelist only relays" or whatever. Then we will start the cycle anew.
