Andrew Bridgen former UK conservative member of parliament sends an important message...: 'The same people who told you that the vaccines were ‘safe and effective’ are telling you to prepare to hand over your children for a war we have to fight with Russia. They lied to you then and they are lying now.'
The war being fought to end spam on Bitcoin and defend the decentralized network continues. Bitcoiners expect these battles and face them one at a time
⚡️🚨 NEW - Jim Cramer
“Michael Saylor is not to be trifled with. He will do whatever is necessary, he is the Malcolm X of Bitcoin. By any means necessary he will defeat the shorts.”

It'll backfire
Good morning. Gentle reminder that Bitcoin is digital land. The media, including most social media systems are owned by those who own most everything these days. They do not want you to know what Bitcoin really is and are doing their best to buy as much as they can before the masses find out. Bitcoin as an invention/discovery should have one every prize in the book by now. It has not because of the above. If you are reading this count yourself fortunate to have heard the news
Wall St. not telling anyone how cheap we are getting. Doesn't surprise me in the slightest
The more honest nodes, the better. Bitcoin needs many geographically-distributed nodes to ensure decentralization and censorship resistance. Anything that makes running a node more difficult should be a non-starter.
Currently thanks to Bitcoin Core, nodes are being abused - forcing them to store spam and possible CSAM - which increases network centralization and adds legal risk into the bargain. RDTS/BIP444 fixes this data storage 'bug'. Is this big picture argument really so hard to follow?
Bitcoin Improvement Proposal (BIP) 444 prevents node abuse - forcing nodes to accept blocks full of spam - which is endangering the decentralization of the network. This abuse is being facilitated by Core's changes and Core's unfixed bugs. The users are standing up to this with their feet, as witnessed by the dramatic increase in Knots nodes
Good Morning! Run knots!

Morning :) Here's your occasional reminder that 'X' censors content, removes likes from posts and limits the reach of its users. X is not what it appears to be. If it's on your screen, the platform is allowing you to see it. It's only software and can be programmed
The prospective BIP 444 is a defensive move which was initiated by core going rogue and releasing v30 despite huge USER pushback. Nothing more - nothing less. Activate the users and you'll get to see users activating a soft fork
When this excellent doctor posts, this is all I get to see. Only happens with his stuff. I like them anyway

Just a quick reminder
Musk's platform is just a software tool designed to control the flow of information. Don't think that because you can post there that anyone will get to read your thoughts and opinions. X is designed to make you think you are reaching a new audience. You are'nt

Adding jpegs to monetary transactions adds spam to the money in your pocket. Somebody's dirty washing is not in your pocket at the moment and it shouldn't be there in the future either. Satoshi was right, this is an accident waiting to happen

Core's updates - now even in multiple older versions - allow for large arbitrary data including child abuse jpegs from landing onchain => Legal Risk.
No core - no problem
Bitcoin is a monetary network
Decentralized - because of its many and necessary node runners.
Like bitcoin like it is?
Run a node
Run Knots
There should be ZERO nodes running core 30 - To make up for these bad actors we need lots more nodes - Running Knots. If you are not running a node already, please consider spinning one or two up
Arbitrary data storage is not a feature of money
Run Knots - Ditch core
You said bitcoin only works if non technical people run nodes. I'm not so sure. If the majority of technical people involved support a consensus rule change that automatically and only becomes active as signalled by miners then why woulnt it work? BIP-9
Core opens up node runners to legal risk, meaning bitcoin control moves into the hands of the few, not the many.
Knots
SPAM - will not be funded by my node
That keeps bitcoin in the hands of the many, not the few

Can we please have a bugfix for this 'Bitcoin core' spam attack - abusing this oversight in consensus rules. That's all that is needed to plug the hole and stop nodes from spamming bitcoin with non monetary transactions. Until then - Everybody who can install software: Run Knots

Seems the new batch of bitcoiners arriving on board are fully aware of the problem it solves. Noobies are not falling for the core v30 Koolaid
I'm going stop following those who repost/quote anything directly from core. Don't give them any platform
Please stop posting about v30 being released and including the release X post. The less clicks this thing gets the better. Spamming malware
As was already said, bitcoin is not limited to the EU. It's a worldwide rug pull on "Central" "Banks" - Lagarde will learn to cry harder
In the space of just a couple of days, 'bitcoin core' ran up close to 300 nodes with its latest version. Wanna bet all these 29.1.0 nodes wont turn on v30 fast? This is a wrap. Core has been compromised for a long time.
True Bitcoiners do not run core nodes.
Move and keep bitcoin for money - that is its use case

Run a v30 core node?
This is what the headlines could look like
Mainstream media will be ready to report this immediately. Stop it now. Run a (knots) node OR run a node with any other software besides 'core' v30 - due out this Friday. Any old SSD laptop online can do this

Latest Core version now suddenly 100 nodes ahead of Knots. This is a major attack. No other explanation
If you run a Knots node, spin up another :)
If enough big names are with us and it becomes obvious that v30 is core's demise, we just fork to prevent any chance CSAM getting on chain. Blocks with OP_Return sizes >~80 bytes are rejected. Yes but if such a block does get mined, running Knots will not 'fix' it
A block is a block and that gets propagated.
I know, we will try to prevent that with Knots ... we will see ... but forking is not good solution.
Of course it isn't
Bitcoin lives because it is decentral - this is an attack on that.
My node and many others may disappear if one of these blocks hits the chain
A smart slow death spiral
Personally I like the line in the sand approach

Moving to knots is easy
Considering this, anyone intrested in supporting Bitcoin's continued decentralized success will make that move
