actually this is my fav spam prevention method. but average user is not up to the task of doing this in a private way unfortunately.
agree. but as long as lightning is not ubiquitous I think there is a place for pow.

i think its a great option, and would allow users to filter by relays that enforce this kind of policy to prevent spam.
however I also think this method only works well for people who can afford to pay for relays. in my view pow seems less exclusionary in this regard.

are you using kiwi browser with alby on mobile? maybe try nos2x just to see if that works?
also mobile can still be really slow, especially on initial load. hoping next round of updates will help more with this.

i more think its the only method left to try. and pow was originally designed to prevent email spam. and its the only method of spam prevention that doesn't rely on coordination and trust.
weve already seen spam attacks, but theyve mostly friendly fire. i think its good to pre-emptively make spam harder.
pow has some flaws obviously too. but still want to give it a shot

is being able to create a bolt 11 invoice a requirement for lnurl lud06? if so this might not be a bad idea. if not i wouldn't want to be overly strict for users that have wallets that can handle lnurl itself.
