And most so-called denominations have members from both the church and the world, but some lean more in one direction or the other.
My youngest son is obsessed with laundry and does all of our laundry. (He is special needs so I put anything that shouldn't go in the dryer in a mess bag because he can't differentiate) My eldest did laundry before that and said he would only do laundry if he could do all of it because he didn't like his system being messed up. I haven't done laundry in years. It is wonderful!
Dude on the left is nostr:npub138y5h8asc895pxdndrdnx4mgnz5aq55zmy2aerhfad2zlagq0a5qw3aszc at dog camp. Obviously the boss of the prison.
Definitely the cutest, but he looks to be about the size of my dog's head.
I always heard that Easter came from Ishtar a pagan goddess. I don't know which is true, but I like your derivation better.
I used to have a bad wasp problem. My house burnt down and now my problem is gone. I can't recommend the approach, but it does work.
We are celebrating Holy Week this week. I thought I'd share these two very good descriptions of the schedule of the Holy Week. The traditional view does not seem to match Scripture. I'm including a link to a written post https://brittgillette.substack.com/p/how-many-days-and-nights-was-jesus and a link to a video post https://odysee.com/@ETBPwithBrittGillette:f/2025-04-16-Jesus:1 to explain the scripture and I will attach a chart to explain how it likely went.

Never mind. I just figured it out.
Do I have to open a tab inside the group? I was able to create a group from one tab, but can't figure out how to add other open tabs to the same group. I can only find creating a new group and adding one existing tab to it.
That visualize feature looks close to what I want to link my study of end times prophecy. I want to be able to post verses in individual cards and show what comes before, what comes after, parallel passages, and comments preferably with different links in different colors and potentially each post being labeled with a color to differentiate actual Bible verses versus comments on the verses or the verse relationships. I'd also love to be able to link a comment to a link/relationship arrow where I could comment on why I think the order is what it is or why I think to verses are parallel verses of the same event and other considerations. I know you guys have a ton to do, so my personal project isn't highest on the list.
I use that, too. In reality, I use Brave more than waterfox, but I was recommending waterfox as a firefox replacement. I have up to 100 tabs open on Brave, so I do other things on Waterfox. Brave starts getting unhappy when I go over 100 tabs and it becomes hard for me to find the tab I want.
I also try to do some browser isolation, so I only do any google stuff on MS edge.
Waterfox
Forked from Firefox, but they didn't go to the dark side.
I also use Brave
I usually have so many tabs open at a time that I have to use multiple browsers. When you start approaching 100 tabs, they don't usually work well.
Some (most probably) definitely know they are lying, but I don't believe all do. I've seen people that I am pretty certain lie to themselves. People, whose jobs and position depend on believing the lie, frequently lie to themselves because they don't want to admit that they are cheating/harming in order to help themselves. Doctors and researchers are perfect examples. They should know, but their views of themselves depend on not seeing things. Some know and choose to do the wrong thing for their own personal good, but some lie to themselves that they are doing good when they know enough that they should realize they are doing harm.
Definitely lying, but not all realize they lying because many are also lying to themselves.
I went to a VBS meeting after church today. We are doing a Chemistry themed Vacation Bible School. I will be doing the experiment devotions for the kids. I've already got some great ideas to improve the very good curriculum our church bought. I am so looking forward to this. Science and Bible, does it get any better than that?
You probably have to be willing to follow through for this to work, but my husband's father was driving his car and heard this horrible sound. When he stopped, he found that his niece's cat (she was staying with them) had crawled up into the engine compartment to get warm and got mangled by the running engine. He took the cat to the vet and told the vet, "This is a $100 cat. I'd like to get him fixed, but I refuse to spend more than $100. If you can fix him for $100, do that. If not, then put him to sleep." The cat was treated from its severe injuries for exactly $100. He's sure it would normally have been several hundred dollars, but people go into veterinarian medicine to help animals, not to put them down.
Sorry about you cat having health problems. It is painful to pay huge vet bills, but we get attached to our pets.
The truth is the truth even if not one person on earth believes it to be true.
It is amazing how so few believe in truth anymore.
Me, too and they so desperately want to believe the comfortable lie.
We'll see. All the talk seems to still be fighter jets and carrier groups.
