I have used a ratchet strap down the center and it kept enough pressure on the tire to get it started. Pain to get the strap loose if you over fill it though!
Idk if you don’t have a wallet setup yet for zaps or what, but I can’t zap ya for that tidbit. Awesome idea

I think this podcast talks about it. I believe the idea was at least a year before growing in it, but it’s been about that long since I listened to it.
Not quite sure how to add multiple photos. Gonna try this way.

Chicken coop got it’s first coat of paint. It is coming along. Hopefully i can get the chickens out there by this weekend. That is the goal.

He is listening to and watching for geese to land on the pond as they come in from feeding tonight. Sadly he will come away upset yet again as they roost on the neighbor’s pond.

Just checked out your YouTube channel. Were you at Self Reliance Festival last summer? My wife and I went and I think I remember seeing you there.
Are you Brian the coffee guy from up in Washington? If so I really enjoyed your stuff on unloose the goose!
Try nostr.build for adding photos

Beautiful dog!

This beautiful fella shows up every evening and checks out my garden bed. His mate can’t be far. They sit and sing each morning and evening up the driveway a little piece before coming up to eat.
Do you have any wild animal friends?

Making a chicken coop. Second attempt at keeping chickens. I wont have to worry about inflated egg prices now, as I will have over $300 in the first egg these dozen chicks lay. 😒
Do you raise chickens or have you built your own coop? Tell me about your frustrations or moments of joy below.

I have processed deer, hogs, and many types of birds. I like pheasant hunting and waterfowl hunting. Helped others with deer, hogs and chickens.
After euthanizing the turkey I raised, I realized how much harder it is to take the life of a domestic bird vs a wild one.
Checking out #plebstr. So far I find it far superior to damus for my liking. It seems more neat and clean and easier to follow.
I am working on trying to learn python. I believe that my background as a Toolmaker leaning several programming languages for different machines should help me out. I don’t necessarily have a plan for what I want to do with it, but feel like it can never hurt to learn something new. Just posting this to look back on one day and remind myself of where I started.
I never know if these messages are working (I suck at nostr), but what a piece! This is so spot on. Thanks for both the work you both do!
I disagreed with your stance on scaling up societies.
Look at the ancient cities throughout the world, including within the USA before colonial times, that held hundreds of thousands of people.
I actually think that society ran into the same situations as money. It realized it was more resilient when decentralized, providing security and freedom via proof of work.
Now we are at the point where we are trying to figure out how to engage with communities that we share very similar values. This seems to be a lot like the meetups and fedimint. This seems to be the answer to the scaling up of community, which might result into large social cities again.

Was this a presentation at a meetup? It should be if not. Or it should be a segment. I want to share this in audio or video form to my non-nostr circle of influence.
I definitely don’t know what I am doing on nostr. Hopefully I can dig into it this weekend.
Just want to put in writing what my plan is here. Connect with likeminded folks and share notes of my journey from pleb 2 polymath. Hopefully I am able to get some cool folks to follow along and keep me accountable.
