It feels like Bitcoin has finally crossed the Rubicon into the mainstream both a triumph and a tragedy.

Walking around the conference this year, you could easily mistake it for a fintech summit or SaaS expo in Vegas. Same blazers, same VC pitch decks, same awkward networking energy. The suitcoiners outnumber the cypherpunks by 100:1.

On one hand, this is what we fought for: global legitimacy, serious capital, institutional attention.

On the other, something’s been lost in translation. The raw edge, the revolutionary energy, the sense that we were building something against the system not polishing it up to sell it back to the system.

Bitcoin doesn’t feel quite as dangerous anymore.

It feels… professional. Predictable. “Respectable,” even.

Maybe that’s just the mask Bitcoin wears while it continues hollowing out the old world from within.

Either way, the vibe has shifted.

why shouldn't someone to to the gym?

A friend of mine asked where I find the time to train in between demanding work life, family and leisure. I simply responded how could I not at the expense of my mental health and wellness, if not, there is no success in other aspects of my life.

I didn't feel like training today, but it's more than a feeling and more to do with discipline and making it a lifestyle.

What being sanctioned actually means in practice:

But the EU sanctioned me for my pro-Palestine journalism

and stripped me of all my rights.

Again — I haven’t been found guilty of anything by a court.

But I’m not allowed to buy food.

I’m not allowed to buy medicine for my children —

or even a bottle of water when they’re thirsty.

I’m not allowed to accept a gift.

I’m not even allowed to accept a gift.

I’m not allowed to pay my lawyer.

I’m not allowed to leave the country i live in.

I’m not allowed to enter the country i live in.

I’m not allowed to get a job.

I’m not allowed to make payments.

I’m not allowed to receive payments.

I’m not allowed to pay my rent.

Every single time, for every single case, I have to submit a file and ask for permission. Then I have to wait several days to get approval.

While I wait, Israel will have killed more Palestinians — with full backing from the EU. Obviously there will be no sanctions.

But if I don’t follow the rules, I could face a minimum of 5 years in prison.

All because I used my right to free speech — in solidarity with the victims of genocide.

But there’s one thing they can’t forbid — and I promise both you and them:

- I will keep reporting on the genocide in Palestine.

- I will expose EU’s complicity.

- I will amplify the global struggle to tear down this unjust system called imperialism.

Absolutely, I agree with you. Most of these people and media outlets now backtracking/gaslighting us are being disingenuous. I don't even think this will change anything for the Palestinian people or Gaza specifically.

At least maybe people will stop losing their jobs or getting deported for saying Free Palestine. At least people will learn the truth about Zionism.

I especially think this is important for the Jewish Americans who have been brainwashed since by Zionism. Israel endangers their safety around the world.

Building a cultural identity around perpetual victimhood, genocide-normalization and high-fatality false flags is not a recipe for popularity

Why?

I did the math recently and a reasonable guess for the damages that Gaza owes Israel for Oct 7th is ~$30k/Gazan – tens of billions of dollars.

All of the real estate in Gaza is probably worth less than that: that works out to be $172/m².

It'd be perfectly reasonable for Israel to just take all of Gaza in compensation and kick everyone out. Sending them all to Libya would be a very reasonable way to do this.

The Gazan population clearly has an irrational hatred of Jews, they're extremely violent, and there is no path to fixing this problem. Trying peace and diplomacy got us Oct 7th.

A perfectly valid alternative to this would be to cut all aid to Gaza and just wait for the population to starve to death. No-one owes them free food or supplies, and they can't feed themselves. They fucked up their economy through violence – no one owes them anything to fix that.

Speaking of, you can solve a lot of problems that way: Yemen can rain missiles down on Israel and our shipping lanes in large part because western food aid is keeping 90% of their population alive. It's ridiculous that we're doing that.

Also, cutting off all this suicidal aid to people who hate us would free up money to send to Ukraine, a population actually fighting for us.
